LINDSEY HENNAWI, LCSW, MPH

Individual & Group Therapy
As a therapist, I have worked in a variety of settings supporting people with a range of concerns and experiences, but my specialty is trauma; I have dedicated my career to supporting survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, child abuse/neglect, and other forms of violence. I am thus experienced in treating conditions such as PTSD/CPTSD, depression, and anxiety, as well as other diagnoses.

For individuals, I typically provide therapy once a week for 45-minute sessions via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. If you are in need of additional support, twice-a-week sessions may be an option.

For those interested in group-based healing modalities or peer support, I also provide therapeutic support groups. Groups may be focused on skills building (especially to promote healthy coping) or processing (to integrate emotionally charged or traumatic experiences).

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and supportive. I endeavor to create a space where you are safe to bring your full self and where your wisdom, resilience, and needs will be respected. I understand that there are myriad ways survivorship shapes how we feel, think, behave, and relate to others and ourselves, and I am honored to be trusted as a witness and partner in my clients' healing journeys, however those may unfold. Accordingly, I am fiercely committed to liberatory, anti-oppressive, client-centered, strengths-based, and abolitionist practice.
