ABOUT

Lindsey Hennawi, LCSW, MPH (she/her) is a trauma therapist, consultant, trainer, and speaker. As a queer, mixed race woman of color, Lindsey is passionate about supporting folks who live at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities, and educating other folks who support them on best practices.

As a trainer and consultant, Lindsey's specialties include trauma-informed care, working with LGBTQIA+ communities, and promoting staff wellness. She has worked with a variety of organizations to help them transform their structure, policies, and practices to be more equitable and inclusive.

As a therapist, Lindsey knows that the mental health field can reenact the exact harms and oppression we enter therapy to remedy and rectify. She also believes that we heal most holistically when we are in bodies, relationships, and communities that feel safe. For that reason, she firmly roots her work in anti-oppressive, attachment-oriented, relational, and somatic practices.

Professionally speaking, Lindsey got some letters after her name from Columbia University and New York State. When she's not working, Lindsey loves to read (books and tarot), (attempt to) lift/run/box, and cuddle with her dog/cat/wife.
